There are over 80 branches covering the British Isles; from Cornwall to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and from Ireland to the Coast of Suffolk. The branches usually run monthly meetings where you get a chance to talk to friendly local enthusiasts and experts. They can offer advice and help with your plants. Often there will be a guest speaker to give a talk on some aspect of the hobby. This is a great opportunity to grow your knowledge, skills and collection! Often the branches run annual shows and sometimes they group together to run outings or annual day long conventions. These Branches, together with the CactusWorld, are the heartbeat of the society, though usually you do not need to be a society member to attend. So get along to your local meeting and join in!
The branches are grouped into geographical areas called Zones. Many of these Zones organise regional activities involving all the branches within its area.
