Mr Bill Hildyard

Born: 1962

General: Born and brought up in Essex, I have spent the last 30 years living in North Wales. Married with 2 grown-up daughters, we live on a 65 acre farm and I work as a Theatre Systems & Information Manager in the NHS

Cacti & Succulents: Fairly late comer to the hobby, I have only been growing cacti & succulents for a about 13 years. However in that time I have gone from a window cill grower with a general collection to a collection of  over 2,000 plants specialising in Haworthia. I am also a committee member of the Haworthia Society and Editor of Haworthiad the society’s journal.

Other Interests: Keen on self-sufficiency – growing fruit & veg, brewing, preserving & curing and sea fishing. Also enjoy fiddling with cars particularly Land Rovers.
